LILLY SCOURTIS AYERS writer/director
Born in Los Angeles, Lilly Scourtis Ayers received her BA degree in Classical Civilization from UCLA, where she also studied Film Theory. She began working in music video production on projects by directors McG, Hype Williams and others and artists such as Metallica and Tom Petty. In 2004, she completed an MFA in Film Directing at Columbia University, School of the Arts, in New York City. In addition to her degree coursework, Scourtis produced Rapunzel Goes to the Movies—a finalist in the Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmakers Contest, directed by Beatrice Sasha Kobow. In January, 2003 she directed her first music video for Los Angeles band Rezurex (formerly known as Lobo Negro)—a low-budget, retro, science-fiction piece called Devil Woman from Outer Space. Scourtis moved back to Los Angeles in early 2005 and completed her award-winning thesis film, Just a Girl. Scourtis is a member of Step-Up Women’s Network—a non-profit, membership organization dedicated to strengthening community resources for women and girls.

SHANNON FACTOR executive producer
Shannon Factor is an actor, writer, producer, and California native. After many years in theater as an actor trained in Shakespeare and the classics, Shannon has recently gone on to co-star in several independent feature films, in a series of shorts on the festival circuit, and has had guest appearances on such television shows such as Arrested Development and Entourage. As a writer, Shannon has penned several scripts, including a female drag racing screenplay titled Dragster for producers Mimi Rogers and The Firm; a children’s animated film, Silver Snaffles, based on the classic English novel; Scratch This about the DJ battle world which is in development with Augusta Pictures; and she won an award for her script, Marry for Money, from a prominent Los Angeles feminist organization. Through her production company, Cinespire Entertainment, Shannon recently was Executive Producer on La Cerca and Just a Girl, two independent shorts on the festival circuit. She is currently producing a documentary titled Last Fast Ride by director Lilly Scourtis about punk rock star Marian Anderson who overdosed from a heroin addiction.
